Bhumi Pednekar Pledges To Feed 550 Impoverished Families late co-star Sushant Singh Rajput

Since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise many have taken to social media to express their sadness. This includes many stars from the Bollywood industry and his costars as well who shared their experiences with him and how they would always remember him. One of the costars happen to be Bhumi Pednekar and she recently  took to social media to pledge to feed 550 poor families in India. “I pledge to feed 550 impoverished families through the Ek Saath Foundation in the memory of my dear friend. Let’s show compassion and love towards everyone that is in need, now more than ever,” posted Pednekar on social media. Bhumi has joined hands with director Abhishek Kapoor’s wife Pragya’s Ek Saath the Earth Foundation for the noble cause. Before this initiative Abhishek Kapoor and his wife had also pledged to feed the poor as a tribute to Sushant and to remember their loving memories and times spent with him.

Bhumi has felt a deep sense of loss after Sushant’s demise and in order to pay tribute to him, she is feeding needy people. Bhumi and Sushant were seen together in Abhishek Chaubey’s 2019 film Sonchiriya. A few days ago, she also wrote a long beautiful poem for the late actor, remembering each and everything about him as they shared happy moments on Sonchiriya sets. Sharing a picture of the notes she took from Sushant to get an introduction of space, the universe, stars, etc. Bhumi remembered the time when Sushant used to be his teacher on the sets, she wrote about that time when Sush showed her stars from his big telescope and how since then she has been obsessed with the stars and the universe.

What do you think about this noble act by Bhumi? Have you seen their last movie Sonchiriya? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
